Pea Comb Type Genes vs Single Comb Type Genes:

Pea Comb Type Progeny Testing is the process to know the comb genetic make up of an individual thru observations of its offsprings from different mating partners with single comb type and pea comb type (preferably partners that have been comb type progeny tested in the past or those previously qualified as homogenous pea comb or heterogenous pea comb).

Remember, a homozygous pea comb or pure pea comb will NEVER produce “directly” a single comb offspring ever EVEN when mated to a single comb.
