USD 1.6M awarded at 2 national cockfighting sports competitions

Two national cockfighting sports competitions just concluded their Grand Finals.

The stags (young male gamecock chicken), which are supposedly hatched from January 2013 to March 2013, are screened and wing banded last April 2013.

Local (regional/provincial) eliminations begun last October 2013.

A win is equal to 1 point. A loss is equal to 0 point. A draw is equal to 0.5 point.

The two national competitions have a total of PHP 70M guaranteed prizes (USD 1,584,800.00).

DIGMAAN 9-Stag (20 Million) National Derby‘s grand finals was held at Araneta Coliesum on the 15th of December 2013.

Seven cockfighting sports teams have a perfect 9 wins to become the 2013 DIGMAAN Champion/s.
